Health care reform in America

This is a tough one. Health care will evolve dramatically in the next two or three years. What it will look like... what it should like like, is just about anybody's guess. I have a few thoughts on it I'd like to share.

The goal should be a specific level of guaranteed coverage of everyone. That being said everyone will never be able to have the latest and greatest in health care coverage. Care will continue to evolve and perhaps every two years or so the level of guaranteed basic coverage will need to be reevaluated and updated.

So, I think most of us agree that a basic level of care should be provided for everyone. Now the elephant in the room... how will... how should, it be paid for?

NFL Raw or NFL Uncut or NFL Real Time ©

NFL games without announcers. Microphones on players and at locations throughout the field and stands. The audio for the games would be raw uncut audio instead of announcers. This would likely initially be offered as a premium service, online pay per view type situation.

Calorie Watchers of America © or just Calorie Watch

A fast food or restaurant chain in which all meals would include the number of calories (and other food content such as fat grams) on the menu. The menu could even be possible be divided up in to 500 calorie or less meals, 500 to 1000. Instead of a dollar menu as so many drive thru's now have Calorie Watch could have say a 300 calorie snack menu for instance.

Portable health vehicle to take to events such as ballgames, festivals, etcetera where men could easily and quickly be checked from prostrate cancer. This will several many lives as many guys will simply not take time to make and keep a doctor's appointment for testing.
